“…To preserve the integrity of the Feedback system, effective March 31 all goods that can be digitally downloaded or transferred electronically must be listed using the Classified Ads format.”
Now you cannot sell digital products including ebook, audio, video etc using regular listing format, but only as classified ads that cost $9.95 to list for 30 days.
So, what can you do now? Here are some possible approaches…
Using Classified Ads to sell digital products
The most obvious option is to follow what the ebay says: sell downloads using classified ads. However, if you have not realized, there are some restrictions comparing with normal listing…
- There is no feedback involved because it is not considered as a trade but an ads.
- You cannot post any web links to any sites. And that means you cannot add a “buy now” button.

- Manual approach – Burn the digital products onto a CD/DVD disc using cd burning software from brands like Nero, Alcohol.

The first option will require you spend more time, but everything will be under your control. The second approach can save you a lot of hassles in doing the tedious stuff such as disc burning and packaging. But you cannot have control over the shipping process.
